The expanded standalone hospital, located at Samitivej Srinakarin, reinforces Samitivej’s position as a key provider of pediatric healthcare. The hospital serves patients from Thailand as well as international communities, notably from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar.

Samitivej International Children’s Hospital now offers advanced treatments for complex pediatric conditions, including:

– Comprehensive heart care: Open-heart surgery and minimally invasive cardiac catheterization for newborns and children, promoting faster recovery.

– Advanced epilepsy treatment: Medication management to vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) implants for drug-resistant epilepsy.

– Smart rehabilitation technology: Robotic-assisted gait training, Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) therapy, and Redcord NEURAC rehabilitation systems.

– Comprehensive international patient services: Teleconsultations, multilingual support, aeromedical transport, and medical evacuation services to accommodate international patients.

Samitivej integrates digital health technology, highlighted by the Well Kidz App, which supports appointment scheduling, remote consultations, and electronic medical records. Smart ER and the D-Discharge system improve hospital efficiency and patient convenience.

Samitivej’s pediatric care achievements include treating over 7,000 critical pediatric cases annually, performing more than 1,000 pediatric surgeries per year, and maintaining a 92% one-year survival rate for bone marrow transplants – surpassing international standards.
