Alliant Healthcare Surpasses Billion in Federal Healthcare Sales Spotlighting Veterans Caring for Veterans

Alliant Enterprises, widely recognized as Alliant Healthcare Products, has reached a monumental milestone, surpassing $1 billion in federal healthcare sales. This achievement underscores the company’s 20-year dedication to delivering cutting-edge healthcare technology and unwavering support for veterans.

Founded in 2002 and based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Alliant’s remarkable success stems from its steadfast commitment to serving the federal healthcare sector. This includes providing innovative solutions to every hospital within the Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and Indian Health Service. A key factor in reaching the $1 billion milestone was the 2016 unanimous Supreme Court ruling known as “The Kingdomware Decision.” This ruling enforces Congress’s “Veterans First Initiative,” prioritizing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses in federal procurement. It ensures veteran-owned enterprises can deliver high-quality, innovative healthcare solutions to meet the needs of veterans and military personnel, comparable to those available to civilians.

At the helm of Alliant is CEO and founder Major Bob Taylor, an Air Force combat veteran. Since its founding, Alliant has been dedicated to ensuring that veterans and military personnel receive world-class medical care by partnering with medical device manufacturers to provide access to more than 100,000 state-of-the-art healthcare products. Reflecting on the company’s monumental $1 billion milestone, Taylor shared, “This accomplishment is a testament to our team’s incredible determination and resilience. The path to $1 billion has been filled with countless victories and challenges overcome with integrity and innovation. We look to the future with optimism and gratitude.”

A pivotal moment for Alliant came in 2015, when the company strategically expanded its federal presence by appointing federally focused Sales Vice Presidents across the nation and significantly increasing its use of federal government contracting vehicles. With experienced sales leadership in the field and a skilled team of federal contracting specialists, Alliant has been able to collaborate more effectively with contracting officers and federal buyers. This strategy has enabled the company to work seamlessly with federal agencies, improve operational efficiencies, and achieve better outcomes in healthcare delivery. The shift also spurred rapid growth in partnerships with top-tier medical manufacturers, introducing groundbreaking technologies that enhance the lives of veterans. “Who knows better how to care for warfighters than veterans themselves,” Taylor emphasized. “This is a passion for us.”

Eric Albery, President of Alliant Healthcare Products, also highlighted the significance of the achievement: “Reaching the $1 billion mark in federal sales is evidence of our relentless pursuit of excellence. Our mission remains steadfast – to deliver advanced medical solutions that significantly improve the lives of veterans and military personnel. We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated team, valued partners, and customers for making this milestone possible.”
