When is Black Friday 2025?

This year, Black Friday officially falls on Friday 28th November, but many retailers started launching deals ahead of the big day. The official sale will last four days, starting on the Friday, continuing over the weekend and finishing up on Cyber Monday, the 1st of December.

What is Cyber Monday?

Black Friday used to be a one-day sales event in the US that took place the day after Thanksgiving and inspired TV coverage across the world about how savage shoppers could be in pursuit of a good deal. Nowadays, the sale is one of the hottest shopping events across the world and takes place primarily online.

The sale has expanded over time to include the following weekend and Monday (which is now called Cyber Monday), or in some cases the entire month, with deals on home gym equipment, supplements, beauty products, parenting essentials and more.

When do the Black Friday sales start?

Looking back over the past few years, many retailers started offering Black Friday discounts at the very beginning of November and continued dropping deals right until the sale wrapped up on Cyber Monday. Retailers such as Amazon, Dyson, Ninja, and Boots were all a few weeks early with their sales.

How to make the most of the Black Friday sales

The biggest thing to keep in mind with Black Friday sales is that it’s a marathon, not a sprint. In order to make the most of the sales, we’d recommend getting nice and organised before the sales launch throughout November. Make a list of everything you’re hoping to buy, and bookmark the products on a few different retailers so you can see how much the price drops throughout the sale.

There will be so many brands vying for your attention (and money) during the sale, so by keeping a list of everything you want you can avoid falling into the trap of impulse buying things you don’t really want, just because they’re discounted.

When do the Black Friday sales end?

Majority of the Black Friday sales will finish up at midnight on Cyber Monday, the 1st of December. However, over the past few years we’ve noticed that many brands will transition their Black Friday sales into festive sales, so they might extend beyond that date.

When is Cyber Monday 2025?

Black Friday used to be known as an in-store-only shopping event, so as online shopping became more popular Cyber Monday launched as the digital version of Black Friday. Nowadays retailers do huge online sales for Black Friday too, making for a huge weekend of deals. For 2025 Cyber Monday will be taking place on Monday the 1st of December.
