I’ve Been a Health and Fitness Editor for 8+ Years. Here Are The Best Wellness Gifts I’ve Actually Tested

One of the perks of being an editor in the wellness space is that you get to try all the latest products (sometimes before they even launch). I’ve tried A LOT over the years, and this year was no exception. If you’re looking for a gift for that wellness or fitness-obsessed person on your list (or shopping for yourself – no shame!), I’ve got you covered.

All of the selects below are gifts that I’ve actually tried (unless I noted otherwise) and would personally recommend to a friend or family member. And with that, let’s jump straight into my holiday wellness gift guide for 2025.

AION Weighted Vest

If I had to sum up wellness in 2025, I’m pretty sure it was the year of protein…and weighted vests. I finally got on board the trend with this super sleek AION weighted vest. Some of the options out there don’t exactly blend in with your outfit, but I love this weighted vest because it looks like a chic vest – no one will know it weighs 5-7.5 pounds unless they pick it up. BTW, the brand sells plenty of options for men and women.

Daughter Lessons Sweat Collection Sweatshirt

I’m obsessed with everything the amazing sister-duo behind Daughter Lessons makes, and this sweatshirt is no obsession. I got it while celebrating the Sweat Collection Launch in NYC at the Daughter Lessons X Aubre Winters pop-up event this fall. I’ve basically been living in this sweatshirt. It’s so warm and cozy, and the cropped and mock neck details make it feel so elevated. Throw this on when you want to feel cozy but look put together and chic, or buy it for the person in your life who’s always headed to a workout class.

P.S. While I haven’t tried this yet, the new Daughter Lessons Endurance Onesie in the Raisin color is on my wishlist!

Pluto Pillow

If you’re super particular about your pillow (*raises hand*) or know someone who is, you need a Pluto Pillow. These are totally custom pillows that are specially made for your body, sleeping position, and personalized preferences. I’ve been using one of these for years (I’m on my second Pluto Pillow) and can’t recommend these enough. This is the perfect gift for someone you’re not sure what to get – who wouldn’t love a custom, new pillow personalized just for them? Plus, good sleep is the ultimate wellness hack.

The Bands by Cacti Wellness

If I could only keep one piece of exercise equipment, it would be a resistance band. They’re versatile, easy to use, and lightweight, which means you can bring them anywhere. I love these chic bands from Cacti Wellness/Kira Jones. They’re perfect for any Pilates or sculpt workout devotee in your life.

Almla Active Pilates Socks

If someone on your holiday list takes reformer Pilates classes, then chances are they need more socks. I love these grip socks from Almla Active. These colors are inspired by tea – and I love the ruffle-edge detail on the white pair. Although I don’t own this particular set of socks, I have another pair from the brand and have been loving them in my reformer classes.

Catalyst Electrolyte Coffee

I’m a fan of hydrating before coffee, but why not also hydrate *while* you drink your coffee? Catalyst is a premium coffee infused with electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium. Hear me out: this may be an instant coffee, but it doesn’t taste like it. I love drinking this pre- or post-workout, and the coffee is seriously so good. This is the perfect gift for someone in your life who you’re not quite sure what to get (but you know they are active and love coffee.)

Sync Botanical Teas

I love drinking herbal tea at night, and this box makes the entire tea experience so lovely.
